Overlooking downtown Traverse City, the Park Place Hotel has remained one of Northern Michigan’s most recognizable landmarks for generations. Its distinctive rooftop and historic architecture have long been part of the skyline along Grand Traverse Bay.
 
Created as part of the Classic Originals Collection, this hand-drawn ink illustration focuses on architectural detail, layered texture, and restraint. I wanted to capture the historic character and clear lines of the hotel while keeping the composition timeless.
