There are places that seem to stand apart from time.

Permanence is a quiet watercolor study of an historic Traverse City Commons structureSoft washes, restrained line work, and a limited palette allow the structure to emerge gradually from the landscape, focusing less on architecture itself and more on the feeling of endurance it carries.

Created as part of the SBP Studio Originals Collection, this piece reflects an interest in the buildings that remain while seasons, generations, and surroundings continue to change. I made this intentionally understated, to allow space for memory, observation, and personal connection.
