Established in 1882, Sleder's Tavern is one of Traverse City's most enduring landmarks and is considered one of the oldest operating restaurants in Michigan. A true neighborhood tavern, beloved by locals and visitors with a facade that is a reminder of the early days of Traverse City.

This hand-drawn sketch captures the Sleder's with its tall shade trees and covered porch and how it sits within the neighborhood as opposed to dominating a location. It is classic, simple and timeless and the print is designed to capture the decades of stories within the walls of Sleder's. Art that is made to be lived.

You can find other local landmarks and hand-drawn works in the Traverse City Collection.
